"Jamie's Cryin" is a 1978 song by Van Halen from their debut Van Halen. The song was written and recorded live during the three week sessions for the album. <br /><br /> The song discusses a woman who engages in one-night stands and is disappointed when no relationship forms out of them. Drummer Alex Van Halen identifies this song as his least favorite Van Halen song. <br /><br />Rapper Tone Lōc sampled the song heavily on the hit "Wild Thing", without giving the band credit or seeking permission. Van Halen did not sue him, however.
